Optimism is the one quality more associated with success and happiness than any other.

Norm's Experience and Training

I have worked with a coach continuously for over three years. My experience has made it clear to me that my life is significantly better
with the insight, support and co-creation that this process provides.
No matter how skilled I am at coaching, I function better and cleaner
with a second perspective, introduced with masterful coaching skills
.

Personal Experience

I have flowed through four careers, and have also created two successful and thriving businesses from startup,
then sold each business for a handsome profit. Each career has been more rewarding than the last.
Coaching however is my true calling.
I have been doing it all my life, even before I had a name for it.

I want you to be as successful with your coaching experience as I have been with mine.
Working with my coach I have reached nine of my top ten life dreams.

 1. Experienced my Caribbean Island fantasy:  I spent two months on an amazing tropical island off the coast of Belize,  went scuba diving with manta rays, and swam with sharks, turtles, and dolphins. I even learned half a dozen great uses for coconuts. I explored a tropical jungle, photographing wild jaguars, monkeys and parrots, and also kayaked cave rivers. In Guatemala I saw Mayan Ruins in Tikal, and found ancient ceremonial sites deep in crystal caves.

2. Visited my ancestral home in Europe:  Shrewsbury England, the 15th century town that bears my family name, was my first stop. I experienced the 2000 celebration in Greenwich at the famed observatory. I even heard Van Morrison and Paul McCartney live in concert. I saw a fresh crop circle in a brilliant yellow canola oil field, then watched the sun set at an ancient stone site near Stone Henge.

3. Developed a strong spiritual practice: I have met the Dalai Lama, traveled to Brazil, Arizona, California, Utah, Indiana, Colorado, and New Mexico to study with wonderful Tibetan Buddhist teachers, and participated in various retreats ranging from one evening to six weeks.

4. I became credit card, debt free: My coach helped me to develop and implement a plan, and to achieve freedom from credit card debt for the first time since college.

5. Co-created a satisfying relationship: For nearly four years I have shared a great relationship with my wonderful partner, Jayne Lee. Jayne is a gifted Feldenkrais practitioner, dancer, choreographer and Grand Canyon river guide. She was born In Wales. Her family now lives in England where she visits regularly.

6. Boated the Grand Canyon: I have been down the canyon 4 times. The last trip I kayaked nearly 200 miles of the Colorado River in the heart of Arizona. I only swam two big rapids that time. On prior trips I have had a variety of experiences from being a passenger on a motor rig, to rowing a 16 foot raft. During side hikes I saw wonderful aqua colored waterfalls with names like Elve's Chasm, and Deer Creek Falls.

7. Purchased my dream home: After three months of renovation, on New Year's Day 2001 we moved into a beautiful home in Flagstaff, an hour from the Grand Canyon and Sedona. With help from Jayne and my father, we added new wood and tile flooring along with triple pane windows, upgraded the electrical service,
installed track lights for my photographs, and even converted the garage to a meditation/Feldenkrais room.

8. Restored and remodeled a 1984 4x4 pickup truck. I added a beautiful custom camper shell and painted the rig my favorite shade of fern green. I installed a carpet kit and a simple kitchen, while maintaining its true off road nature.

9. Currently living my vision of right livelihood: I have always wanted to assist people to really enjoy their life and develop their highest potential. My 20 year quest for personal development has brought me a tremendous understanding of the human mind and how its development relates to lasting happiness.
